A big cone for heavy liquids

At 3600 gallons, a cone bottom tank is a piece of plant equipment: it holds a bulk delivery of a treatment chemical, a large brine or fertilizer batch, or a process liquid that has to drain out completely. The cone sends every gallon to one outlet, so the tank empties clean and solids that settle come out first. The 1.9 heavy duty wall is the reason to buy this one: dense liquids push hardest on the lower wall and the cone, and a tank rated for water will not take them. What to check before you buy

1. Stand and slab. No stand is named with this part number. A tank this size needs a stand rated for the full 1.9 load and a slab designed for it. Start with our cone bottom tank stand compatibility matrix, and we will confirm the stand with Snyder.
2. Height. 125 inches is the tank alone. Add the stand and working room over the manway, and plan a platform for filling and inspection.
3. Outlet. No outlet fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the valve size and the chemical, and we will confirm the fitting and gasket at the cone tip with Snyder.
