Where it goes

This is the dense-chemical tank for a room where the floor is tight: 4,500 gallons of acid, coagulant or brine on a circle 102 inches across, in black so light never reaches the liquid. What to check before you buy

1. The liquid. Up to 1.9 specific gravity and 120 F in this tank. Check it in the chemical compatibility guide and name the chemical and concentration when you order so every wetted part of the fitting matches it.
2. The outlet. Give us the pipe size you are connecting and we confirm the fitting that goes in the wall. Nearly twelve feet of a dense liquid is a real head on the fitting, so the first valve sits on its own support, the connector to hard pipe is flexible, the pump sits below the outlet, and a low-level float stops it before it draws air.
3. The manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway, 142 inches up, opened from a platform with a rail. Fill through a dip tube to the floor, size the vent to the delivery pump, and run it outdoors on anything that fumes.
