The entry grade of the wide, low 4,500

This shell is sold in three wall ratings and this is the lightest of them. Buy it for water, process and makeup water, a nutrient or fertilizer solution under a shed roof, a cleaning solution at a food plant with a low ceiling, or rinse water on a plating line, and for anything else at or under 1.35 times the weight of water. The shape is the other half of the decision: 91 inches to the top of the shell gets under roofs, inside containment curbs and beneath mezzanines that stop taller tanks, and the price of that is a 143 inch diameter. Full, the tank spreads over 37,530 lb across that circle, borne by a rotationally moulded floor across the whole base, so the slab is engineered, poured level and in full contact per the concrete pad sizing guide. Openings and what to check before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, 91 inches up, reached from a short fixed ladder. Because the lid is easy to reach, this tank gets dipped and looked into; keep it shut between deliveries. Fill through a dip tube to the floor and size the vent path to the delivery pump.
2. Outlet. No outlet fitting is listed on this product. Tell us the liquid, the pipe size and where the connection goes and we will confirm what comes installed and what you add. A short tank gives a pump little suction head: mount it below the outlet and fit a low-level cutout.
3. Rating. 1.35 specific gravity and 140 F. Liquids heavier than 1.35 times water need the 1.5 or heavy duty version of this shell; ask us.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 400 from Snyder's Chowchilla, CA plant, 143 x 143 x 91 inches and 900 lb. The width makes it a wide load, so the yard needs a clear approach and a telehandler or forklift with long forks; at 900 lb the lift is light but awkward, taken with straps under the body and never with a hook through the manway.
