The delivery that replaces the totes is a mini-bulk truck, smaller than a tanker, which backs into a chemical room, connects to a fill line through the wall, and pumps for twenty minutes while the driver watches a gauge; the tank takes the drop, and the operator never handles a container again. Keeping a hypochlorite pump primed

• Outlet: the sheet's outlet field reads 23, and we print it as given; name the chemical at order and the fitting size, gasket and bolting are confirmed for it, with a flanged transition, a flexible connector to hard pipe, and the first valve on its own support off the pad.
• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 142 inches up, opened from a platform with a rail; fill through a dip tube to the floor, run the vent outdoors, and size it to the mini-bulk truck's pump.
• Service limit: 140 F / 60 C.

Hypochlorite is the liquid that teaches operators about prime: it gives off gas as it ages, the gas collects at the high point of a suction line, and a metering pump that was dosing at breakfast is pumping vapor by lunch. The cure starts at the tank. Mount the pump below the outlet so nearly twelve feet of liquid floods the suction, run the suction line continuously downhill to the pump with no loop or high point, and fit a degassing head or an auto-bleed at the pump so a bubble that does form goes back to the tank instead of stopping the dose. A low-level float in the tank stops the pump before it draws air and, just as important, sends an alarm early enough for the mini-bulk truck to be called. A strainer on the suction side catches the flakes a delivery stirs up. The manway stays shut between drops so the chemical stays out of the light, the wall carries its name, and the headspace band gets a look with a light whenever the lid comes off. Light duty in the family, and where it goes
