Where it goes

At 77 inches the manway is well above head height, the fill line and the vent live above it, and the purlin, the sprinkler head and the light fixture all get measured before the order. Width is the easy part: a 53 inch circle sits inside a modest curb and leaves an aisle. Full of water the tank puts 4,170 lb on that circle, more at the full rating, which is a higher pressure per square foot than a wide tank at the same volume, so pour the slab to our concrete pad sizing guide, level and in full contact. Openings and fittings

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at 77 inches: platform work, not ladder work. Land the fill connection at the rim permanently so nobody handles a hose overhead, and fill through a dip tube to the floor so the stream does not free-fall and foam. Pipe the vent outdoors on anything that fumes.
2. Outlet. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off you want when you order and we will confirm what this tank accepts at the base and in what material before anything is drilled. The first valve rides on its own support with a flexible connector to hard pipe.
