This is a crosslinked linear polyethylene (XLPE) tank built to ASTM XLPE specification, carrying a 1.9 specific gravity rating - the wall is engineered to hold contents up to 1.9 times the weight of water. That 1.9 is the ceiling for this heavy-duty grade, so there is no denser tier to cross-shop; if your liquid is at or under 1.9 SG, this tank covers it. Full of water the tank and contents weigh about 4,587 lb, and the shell is rated to carry up to 8,715 lb of contents at its maximum rated density. Plan your pad and anchoring for the full loaded weight, not the empty tank. Fittings and access
The tank is configured with a flanged outlet, an 18-inch PE threaded and vented lid, and a manway with 15-inch access for interior reach during cleaning or inspection. It also carries two 16-inch by 16-inch flat fitting pads that give you finished landing zones for adding bulkhead fittings or level instrumentation.
