550 gallons, four feet tall, with a bolted outlet
The Snyder WG33 holds 550 gallons of water in a green high density linear polyethylene shell 64 inches across and only 48 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds. It is the low profile 550 with the serious outlet: a 2 inch stainless steel bolted fitting instead of a threaded bulkhead, for the tank that feeds a pressure pump or a manifold and needs a fitting that carries pipe load. Forty-eight inches goes under a deck, into a crawl space or into a truck bed below the cab line. An 18 inch manway, a rating of 1.0 specific gravity for water and liquids no heavier, and a 3 year warranty.

Where a four foot tank fits
Forty-eight inches clears crawl space joists and the underside of a deck, and a 64 inch base under it cannot tip. Full, the WG33 carries 4,587 pounds on that circle, which a slab, a paver pad or compacted gravel in full contact supports; the concrete pad sizing guide covers the slab. Leave room above the manway for the lid and a hose, and a clear side for the outlet and the pump. The tank sizing calculator confirms 550 gallons against the draw.
The 550 gallon family, low and tall
| Part | Gallons | Diameter x height | Empty weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| WG33 (this tank, green, low, bolted outlet) | 550 | 64 x 48 in | 100 lb |
| WG32, green, low | 550 | 64 x 46 in | 100 lb |
| WG34, green, tall, bolted outlet | 550 | 48 x 77 in | 140 lb |
| WB34, black, tall | 550 | 48 x 77 in | 140 lb |
| 32517, black | 750 | 48 x 106 in | 117 lb |
The WG32 is the same low shape 2 inches shorter with threaded fittings. The WG34 and WB34 are the same 550 gallons stood up on a 48 inch base, 29 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier, for the closet with height and no floor. The 32517 is the 750 gallon doorway tank at 106 inches. Low when the ceiling decides, tall when the floor does.

Bolted outlet, bulkhead inlet
- Inlet: 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting.
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene fitting with a stainless steel bolted flange, at the base; re-torque after the first full fill.
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, at waist height.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
Forty-eight inches of head is a gentle gravity feed, so this tank is paired with a pump, and the bolted flange is where the suction goes: pump below the outlet so it primes by gravity, a union and a check valve in the line, the pump supported off the floor. A sight tube off the outlet reads the level through the green wall.
On a truck or a trailer
A 48 inch tank on a 64 inch base is the shape that rides in a pickup or on a flatbed trailer without a strap over the cab. Full, it adds 4,587 pounds plus the tank, which is beyond a half-ton pickup's payload and inside most trailers'; check the sticker and haul less than full if it is close. Strap through the manway ring and over the top to the anchors, never around a fitting; a rubber mat under the tank stops it sliding; drive full or empty rather than half, because sloshing water moves a vehicle. Cap the outlet and keep the vent clear.
Put to use
Under-deck rain cisterns feeding a garden pump, crawl space well buffers, water on a trailer for a remote site, and a cell of the fire reserve the fire-water reservoir design guide describes. In multiples on a manifold, the storage stage of a roof-water and condensate reuse system, per the industrial water reuse tank topology article; the tank sizing guide covers days of supply.
What the carrier needs from you
The WG33 ships palletized as LTL freight (NMFC 156600-02) at a class rate; the freight cost estimator shows it for your ZIP, and the listed price is before freight. Two people carry 100 pounds. Plumb the bolted outlet, fill in stages per the hydrostatic test methodology guide, and torque the flange bolts once more after the hold. Note the pad height and the outlet height on the site plan while the tape is out; the next pipe run will need both.
