Setting a tall 550
Full, the WG34 puts 4,587 pounds on a 48 inch circle, which a slab, a paver pad or compacted gravel in full contact supports; the concrete pad sizing guide covers the slab. At 77 inches on 48 the tank has a high center of gravity, so strap it to a wall or to anchors, especially outdoors. The 18 inch manway is at 77 inches, a step-stool reach. The WB34 is this tank in black. The WG33 lays the same 550 gallons down to 48 inches on a 64 inch base, 40 pounds lighter, for the crawl space. The 32511 is the standard-wall 500 on the same 48 inch base, 60 pounds lighter with threaded fittings, for the indoor tank that is filled and left alone. The 32517 stacks 750 gallons on the 48 inch base at 106 inches. The WG34 is the one for the outdoor tank with a pump on it.

What is fitted
- Inlet: 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting.
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene fitting with a stainless steel bolted flange, at the base; re-torque after the first full fill.
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
Seventy-seven inches of head gives a hose a usable gravity flow, and the bolted flange carries a rigid suction line and a heavy valve without working the wall; put a flexible transition in the line anyway. A sight tube off the outlet reads the level through the green wall. In a freezing climate, the body takes ice from the top down; insulate or drain the outlet valve and the first run of pipe.

Two people carry 140 pounds through a door. Strap it, plumb the bolted outlet, fill in stages per the hydrostatic test methodology guide, and torque the flange once more after the hold. Mark the vent and the outlet on the outside of the shell so nobody caps the wrong one in the dark.
