Two 6000 gallon bodies: this is the wide one

Snyder makes 6000 gallons in two shapes. This body is 120 inches across and 145 inches tall: ten feet of floor and a manway at a little over twelve feet, which fits under most industrial roofs with room for a fill line and a vent, and stands with a lower centre of gravity than the narrow body. Choose it when you have the floor and not the height. The 1.9 wall is the reason to pick this tank over the standard version of the same shell: brines, concentrates and dense process solutions need it, while plain water and most fertilizers do not. Openings and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. Size the vent to the delivery pump: the air displaced by 6000 gallons has to leave as fast as the liquid arrives, and a starved vent is the usual reason a lid seal keeps failing.
2. Fill. Run a dip tube to the floor rather than a hose over the rim; free fall foams the headspace and wets the upper wall where vapour concentrates.
3. Outlet. This listing does not state an installed outlet fitting. Tell us the liquid, the size and material you need and where the drain lands, and we will confirm with Snyder what comes on the tank and what is added.
4. Temperature. 140 F (60 C) is the service limit. A hot process liquid, or a tank in direct summer sun near that limit, needs a conversation first.
