The bulk chemical tank at plant scale

The 7140000C34 is the same mold with 150 pounds less resin, for the liquid that does not need the full 1.9 wall. The black 7140000N49 is the light-blocking version at a 1.5 rating. The 5300400N40 carries 450 more pounds of wall on the same base, 5 inches taller, and the 5300700N40 is the low room answer: 7,000 gallons at 122 inches on a 142 inch base.

Ports and access
- Outlet: 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the bottom of the sidewall; a PVC or CPVC adapter, a flexible transition, an expansion joint and a valve supported off the slab.
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, vented outside on caustic and acid service; fill through a dip tube to the floor.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
Thirteen feet of head over a 3 inch outlet is real pressure at the bulkhead, so the nut is checked after the first full fill and the pipe is never allowed to hang from the fitting. Level is a hydrostatic sender at the outlet or radar on the manway, never a climb.
