Why a black chemical tank
Carbon black is the most effective ultraviolet stabilizer polyethylene has, and it is also opaque, so a black tank protects both the wall and the liquid from light. That matters for hypochlorite, for peroxide, for some polymers and for any liquid that degrades in daylight, and it matters for an outdoor tank that will stand in the sun for decades. Openings, instruments, labels
