Farm, ranch and site water in one tall tank

Western buyers use a tank like this for livestock water hauled or pumped from a well, irrigation and frost-protection reserves, dust control water on a job site, wash water at a shop, or a fire reserve at a rural property. The black wall matters outdoors: no light reaches the water, so algae does not take hold the way it does in a translucent tank. Water and liquids up to 1.5 specific gravity are the design load. The height is 186 inches before the fill line and vent, so check power lines and roof eaves near the pad. What to check before you buy

1. The size. Work it out from daily use and how often you can refill with the tank sizing calculator and the tank sizing guide.
2. The outlet. The manway is the only opening listed for this tank. Tell us the pipe size and what the tank feeds, a trough, a pump or a sprinkler line, and we will confirm the outlet fitting before anything is drilled. Use a flexible connector to hard pipe.
3. The level. A black wall hides the water line. Plan on a float gauge or a level sender.
