What they share is volume, not density. The delivery is a tanker into one vessel, the 100,080 pounds the rating allows is more than the load will ever weigh, and paying for the heavy-duty wall in the same shell would buy nothing but four hundred extra pounds on the crane pick. This tank and the 5300600N40 are the 1,900 pound walls, each rated as its own sheet says; the 5300600N42 and 5300600N48 are the 2,300 pound heavy-duty walls for liquids the lighter rating does not cover. Nothing else moves: same 8,000 gallons, same 120 inch base, same 186 inch height, same 18 inch top. Suction, prime and the float on a lighter wall

• Suction: this sheet's outlet field reads 1 Manway / Lid and lists no bottom fitting size. Name the liquid and the flow at order and the bulkhead, the gasket and the bolting are matched to it, with a flexible connector to hard pipe and the first valve carried on a stand off the pad.
• Prime: with 186 inches of liquid above it, a pump set below the outlet runs flooded far into the drawdown. That is worth designing for on a light liquid too, because a self-priming pump that never has to self-prime lasts longer than one that does it twice a shift.
• Low level: put a low-level cutout on the tank rather than trusting the operator, and set it where the sender still reads reliably instead of at the last inch.
• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 186 inches up, with ladder lugs molded in. Fill down a dip tube to the floor so a fuming liquid is not splashed into the headspace, and run the vent outdoors, sized to the delivery pump.
• Service limit: 140 F / 60 C.

The vent is the fitting people get wrong on a tank that takes deliveries. A tanker pump can move air out of 8,000 gallons of headspace faster than an undersized vent will pass it, and the shell is not a pressure vessel; size the vent to the pump, not to the pipe that was already there. Two flange lines are molded in for side piping, and every penetration gets made properly, because a leak found at 66,720 pounds of water is a much better day than one found later.
