Choose a level sender rated for concentrated acid and read it at ground level. Acid draws water from the air and heats when it does, so the manway stays closed and the vent carries a drying trap. Never add water to the tank; dilution is done elsewhere, water first.

Receiving a delivery

A delivery truck's pump can push air out faster than a stock vent can pass it, so the vent is sized for the unload rate or the fill goes through a dedicated top bulkhead with its own vent line.
