An in-between size that fits a standard pad

4100 gallons is the size buyers land on when a smaller tank runs dry between deliveries and a larger one will not fit the space. On a 102 inch base it keeps the pad modest and gains its volume by standing 130 inches tall. The 1.5 rating covers water, most liquid fertilizers and many water treatment chemicals. Full of water it holds 34,194 lb (4100 x 8.34); at the full rating, 51,291 lb (4100 x 1.5 x 8.34). Anything heavier needs a higher-rated wall, and anything stored above 120 F needs a different tank. Openings and what to check before you buy

1. Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting near the floor. Three inches moves a tank this size quickly; keep the valve and hose at 3 inch and support the valve on its own.
2. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, 130 inches up. Plan a ladder, or a fill line from the ground.
