Where it goes
Fertilizer storage and blending, brine and water treatment chemical make-up, and batch work where the tank should be empty between uses. At 56 inches tall before the stand, it fits a plant room or a barn bay that a tall cone will not. Water, liquid fertilizer and the common chemicals polyethylene handles, up to 1.5 times the weight of water and under 120 F. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. 2 inch, at the point of the cone. Tell us the valve or hose connection you are making and we confirm the thread form of the fitting on this tank before it ships; Norwesco's drawing, linked under Technical Drawing on this page, shows the outlet position.
- Top opening. 16 inches, large enough to fill from a hose, to mount a float or a mixer bracket, and to get a hand and a brush inside.
- Stand. A 20 degree cone needs a 20 degree stand. The stand height sets the clearance under the outlet, so measure the valve, pump or drum first.
