The resin is recorded as HDLPE but not yet confirmed, so confirm HDLPE versus XLPE with us before committing the tank to chemical service, since polyethylene resins differ in chemical resistance. The single most common chemical-tank field failure is the wrong gasket, so match your elastomer to your liquid. A few services demand metal or specific-plastic fittings rather than the default PVC. DEF (32.5%) requires 316SS fittings with an EPDM gasket; Propylene Glycol and Zinc Orthophosphate run PP or 316SS with EPDM; and Sodium Bisulfate and Sodium Bisulfite use PVC/PP with EPDM. The one true exception is Peracetic Acid (30%): it needs 316SS fittings and an Aflas gasket, not the EPDM or Viton used elsewhere, so don't default a peracetic build to a Viton kit.
