The mistake to avoid

Do not undersize the fittings, gaskets, or frame for the actual product. The single most common error on a 1.9-rated leg tank is bolting on standard EPDM hardware and then running an oxidizer or strong acid - hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, hydrofluosilicic, hydrogen peroxide, phosphoric, and sulfuric acids all call for Viton gaskets, sulfuric needs CPVC fittings, and DEF and peracetic acid step up to 316 stainless.
