At 99 inches long and 66 inches wide this tank fits a tandem axle trailer, a nurse trailer or a flatbed, and at 70 inches tall it is a taller tank than the elliptical shapes of the same volume, so it suits a deck where length is short and height is not. Full of water it is close to 11050 lb and more with fertilizer, so the trailer's axle, tire and tongue ratings, not the tank, are usually the limit. Norwesco calls for 3 bands on this tank when it rides on a vehicle, band part N-63282; the add-ons box on this page lists them. Strap through the moulded leg recesses, never over the manway. On the ground it needs a flat, continuous surface under every leg. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed. Your valve, camlock or hose adapter threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top, 70 inches up on a trailer deck, so plan a step to reach it. Wide enough to fill from a hose or a pump and to get a hand and a brush inside.
- Bands. 3 bands required for vehicle use, part N-63282. Order them with the tank.
