The Snyder 32122 is a white high density linear polyethylene vertical liquid storage tank, 86 inches across and 72 inches tall, holding 1,600 gallons at 315 pounds. Its wall is rated for a specific gravity of 1.5, or 20,016 pounds of contents against 13,344 for water, so it holds brine, fertilizer solution and coagulant as delivered as well as water, and the low, wide shape cannot tip and keeps the 20 inch manway within reach of a step. A 2 inch polypropylene outlet, and it ships as standard LTL freight.

Low, wide, and a heavier wall than the water tank
Sixteen hundred gallons at 72 inches goes under a barn loft, a low eave or a pipe rack where a tall tank would not, and the wide base sits low enough that no strap is needed. This is the 1.5 specific gravity version of the shape; the wall is sized under ASTM D1998 for a liquid half again as dense as water, and the HDPE tank wall thickness guide explains that sizing logic and why the headspace, not the liquid line, is where a wall ages. The 32118 is the water-rated tank in this same low shape, 51 pounds lighter, for water and nothing heavier. The 1840000C26 stands 1,550 gallons on a 64 inch base at 124 inches, and the 1780200N40 stands 1,900 gallons on a 72 inch base in cross-linked resin for oxidizers, both for a site with height and no floor. The 32170 is the next low 1.5 tank up, 2,000 gallons on a 96 inch base at nearly this height.

What is fitted
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the base; a flexible connector between the bulkhead and hard pipe, and the valve supported off the pad.
- Access: 20 inch threaded, vented manway.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
A 2 inch outlet feeds a pressure pump or an irrigation pump without starving it, and the low shape keeps the suction flooded to the last few inches. The white wall shows the level in daylight; tee a sight tube off the outlet for a number from the ground. In a cold climate the outlet valve and the first run of pipe are insulated or drained; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
Applications
Well storage under a low roof, fertilizer solution and brine on a farm at the 1.5 rating, a rain cistern beside a barn, stock water on a pasture, and one cell of a small fire reserve of the kind the fire-water reservoir design guide describes, where the low center of gravity counts. A forklift or a pallet jack moves 315 pounds, and at 86 inches across it needs a gate, not a door. Fill it to the manway once, hold it, and check the outlet fitting before it goes to work. Mark the vent and the outlet on the outside of the shell so nobody caps the wrong one in the dark.
