The Snyder 32170 is a white high density linear polyethylene vertical liquid storage tank, 96 inches across and 73 inches tall, holding 2,000 gallons at 426 pounds. Its wall is rated for a specific gravity of 1.5, or 25,020 pounds of contents against 16,680 for water, the low shape cannot tip and keeps the 20 inch manway within reach, and the 2 inch outlet carries an internal siphon tube so the tank drains from the floor without a fitting at the very bottom. It ships as oversize freight.

Low, wide, and drained from inside
Two thousand gallons at 73 inches goes under a barn loft or a low eave where the tall 2,000s would not, and the eight foot base sits low enough that no strap is needed. A siphon tube outlet draws from the floor of the tank through a fitting set higher on the wall, which keeps the bulkhead out of the sediment and lets the tank sit directly on a pad without a sump; prime it once and it stays primed. The 1.5 wall covers brine, fertilizer solution and coagulant as delivered as well as water. The 5050300C137 is the lighter 2,000 on this same 96 inch base, 11 inches taller, sold without a fitting for the buyer who drills their own. The 5050000 tanks stand 2,000 gallons on a 90 inch base at 88 inches in white and black. Openings as shipped
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting with an internal siphon tube; a flexible connector between the bulkhead and hard pipe, and the valve supported off the pad.
- Access: 20 inch threaded, vented manway.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
A siphon outlet needs the pump or the gravity line below the tank floor to stay primed, and a foot of drop is enough; if the line ever runs dry, refill the tank above the fitting and open the valve to re-prime. Tee a sight tube off the outlet to read the level, or fit a float gauge on the manway. In a freezing climate insulate or drain the outlet valve and the first run of pipe; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
In service
Well storage under a low roof, a rain cistern beside a barn, irrigation and stock water, fertilizer solution and brine at the 1.5 rating, and a small fire reserve where the low center of gravity counts. One liquid per tank, labeled.

A forklift with long forks or four people roll 426 pounds onto the pad. Fill it to the manway once, prime the siphon, and check the outlet fitting before it goes to work. The first fill is the only cheap time to find a problem, so do it in daylight with someone watching the base.
