The Snyder 1780200N45 is a white polyethylene vertical liquid storage tank, 72 inches in diameter and 119 inches tall, holding 1,900 gallons at 520 pounds. It is the heavy wall of Snyder's certified 1,900 gallon family: rated for a specific gravity of 1.9, or 30,107 pounds of contents against 15,846 for water, 75 pounds more resin than the 1.5 rated tank from the same mold, and sold with ASTM certification for the submittal. The heavy wall, certified

The N43 is the 1.5 rated version 75 pounds lighter, for brine and dilute solutions; the N42 is cross-linked polyethylene at this tank's weight, for oxidizers and warm liquids. The 32118 lays 1,600 gallons under a six foot ceiling on an 86 inch base, 48 inches shorter, and the 5050000C26 puts 2,000 gallons on a 90 inch base at 88 inches. Where the pipe goes
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 119 inches up; vent outside on caustic and acid service, fill through a dip tube to the floor.
- Outlet: order the bulkhead fitting in the material the chemical calls for; a flexible transition, an expansion joint, and a valve supported off the floor.

A white tank shows its level in daylight; in a pump room, a hydrostatic sender at the outlet chosen for the chemical. Strap the empty tank with two bands over the top to anchors in the slab, keep the vent clear so a fast draw cannot pull a vacuum on the wall, and inspect above the liquid line, in the headspace, where a tall wall fails first.
