The N42 is cross-linked polyethylene for hypochlorite and the other oxidizers, and the C26 and C34 are the general grades, all at this tank's weight in the same shell. The 1540400N42 lays 190 gallons down to 47 inches on a 42 inch base in cross-linked resin, and the 1012900C26 holds 210 gallons on this same 36 inch base 2 inches taller.

Fittings and access

• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway; filled by hose, drum pump or tote pump.
• Outlet: specify the bulkhead fitting for the chemical when ordering; a flexible line to the pump suction and a valve supported off the floor.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
• Listing: ASTM certification.

Put the dosing pump below the outlet, where it primes by gravity, with a union and a check valve in the suction line. Keep the manway shut so nothing is lost as vapor, and shade the tank if the chemical is light-sensitive; a 36 inch tank fits a standard spill pallet.
