Seven feet four to the manway

This is a tank you can open from the floor. At 88 inches tall and 90 inches across it fits a plant room, a barn bay, a wash-down room or a greenhouse header station where the ceiling rules out a taller shell, and the fill line and vent still land above the manway. It takes seven and a half feet of level slab. The 1.5 wall covers water, rainwater, liquid fertilizer and the common farm and treatment liquids polyethylene handles. For a brine, a concentrate or anything denser than 1.5 times water, use the heavy duty 1.9 rated version of this shell, which we also list. Full of water the tank puts 16,680 lb on a seven and a half foot circle, bearing on the whole floor, so the slab must be level and in full contact. Openings and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. 18 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill line with a dip tube, level sender, and room for a hand and a brush. Size the vent to the delivery pump.
2. Outlet. This listing does not state an installed outlet. Tell us the drain size, material and direction and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank ships with.
3. Temperature. 140 F (60 C) service limit; ambient storage is well inside it.
