Where 2,500 gallons at 107 inches fits

The 90 inch diameter is shared with Snyder's larger tanks on this base; this one keeps the footprint and gives up height, which is often the difference between clearing a barn eave or a plant room ceiling and not. It suits a well water reserve, an irrigation buffer between a slow well and a fast pump, a rainwater store on a farm or a fertilizer solution tank at a co-op. The 1.35 rating covers all of those. Openings and fittings

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, 107 inches up. Fill through it, inspect through it, and drop a float or a level sender through it. The vent passes air for a gravity fill or a small pump; for a tanker delivery, match the vent to the fill rate.
2. Outlet. Tell us the liquid and the pipe size when you order and we will confirm which outlet fitting this part number ships with. Put a valve on it, support the valve off the slab, and run the first length flexible so pipe strain never reaches the wall.

Shipping and receiving

The tank ships LTL at freight class 400 from the nearer of Snyder's plants in Lincoln, NE and Philippi, WV, travelling 90 by 90 by 107 inches at 425 lb. Check the part number against 5090000N33 on the bill of lading and look over the wall before you sign. Two people can walk an empty 425 lb tank on a hard surface, but stand it on the slab with straps under the body, never by the manway. Fill with water first, hold the fill, and watch the base and the outlet for a weep before the working liquid goes in.
