When 90 inches is the number that matters
This shell holds 2500 gallons on a 90 inch circle, standing 107 inches tall. Pick it when the width is your limit: a side yard between a house and a fence, a gate, a shed door, or a row of tanks along a wall. The manway is still within ladder reach. Uses are the usual ones for a black water tank: a rural home or cabin supply, livestock water, irrigation and garden water, wash water, rainwater, and liquid fertilizer held between applications. The rating sets what goes in it. Water and most liquid fertilizers are inside 1.5; denser liquids such as brines and heavy salt solutions need a heavier rated tank, and we will point you to one. Before you buy: openings and fittings
- The manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. It is the fill point, the cleaning access and the vent, so it stays open to air.
- The outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us your line size and whether you pump or gravity feed, and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank comes with.
- Restraint. A 450 lb tank 107 inches tall can move in a strong wind when empty. Strap or anchor it before it stands empty outdoors.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 400 from Snyder's Marked Tree, Arkansas plant, listed at 90 by 90 by 107 inches and 450 lb. Lift from the base with straps and a few people guiding it, never by the manway. Fill it with water first and check the base and manway before you rely on it. At the tailgate, check the bill of lading against 8140000N49 and walk round the shell for any damage.
