Snyder Industries 2500 Gallon ASTM XLPE Black Vertical Storage Tank

Seven and a half feet of floor for 2500 gallons

This is the narrower of Snyder's two 2500 gallon shells: seven and a half feet of slab and eight feet eleven inches to the manway. It suits a plant room, a row of tanks along a wall, a wash bay or a bermed pad where the wider shell would block the aisle. A tall step or a short platform reaches the opening; confirm the clear height with room above the manway for a vent and a fill connection, and anchor the tank while it is empty if it stands outdoors. The 1.5 wall covers water, rainwater, liquid fertilizer and the common farm and treatment liquids polyethylene handles. For a brine, a concentrate or anything denser than 1.5 times water, use the heavy duty 1.9 rated version of this shell, which we also list. Crosslinked polyethylene gives more chemistry margin than ordinary polyethylene; for anything beyond water and fertilizer, check the liquid in the chemical compatibility guide first.

Full of water the tank puts 20,850 lb on a seven and a half foot circle, bearing on the whole floor, so the slab must be level and in full contact. Build it to our concrete pad sizing guide. Openings and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. 18 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill line with a dip tube, level sender, and room for a hand and a brush. Size the vent to the delivery pump.
2. Outlet. This listing does not state an installed outlet. Tell us the drain size, material and direction and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank ships with.
3. Temperature. 140 F (60 C) service limit; ambient storage is well inside it.
