The structure is part of the product, and the practical consequence is that the item arrives ready to stand on a floor rather than waiting on a fabrication. Read the second row carefully rather than quickly. The discharge under a viscous load, and the opening on top

  • The discharge: no outlet, no valve and no bulkhead is published on this sheet, so no size and no hardware is claimed. On a viscous duty this is the single most consequential decision on the whole installation, because a thick liquid through a small throat is slow at best and a plug at worst. Tell us the product, its viscosity at the temperature it will actually sit at, and what it discharges into, and we will confirm what this part number carries before anything is ordered.
  • What hangs below: a valve, a reducer, a flexible connector or a pump inlet is supported on its own frame or off the stand, never off the cone. Vibration from a pump running against a thick liquid is precisely the load a moulded fitting is not there to take.

Viscous product that has to clear the bottom every time
