At 155 inches the tank is just under thirteen feet long and at 82 inches it fits across most tandem axle decks, which is why this shape is the one that ends up as a nurse tank behind a sprayer. The height is the thing people miss: 88 inches of tank on a deck will not go under a low shed door, so measure the opening with the trailer height added. Loaded with water the tank alone puts over fourteen tons on the axles, and fertilizer adds to that, so the trailer's rating is the limit before the tank is. Strap through the hoops with the tank part-full, snug again after it settles, and never run a strap over the manway. The 1.5 rating covers every ordinary fertilizer solution; anything heavier than one and a half times water needs a heavier-rated tank. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. 3 inches, in the end wall. Match the valve and camlock to it. The fitting type and thread are not listed on this page; Snyder's drawing under Technical Drawing shows them, and we confirm before the tank ships.
2. Manway. 24 inches on top, the full-size opening: fill hose, pump, float, and room to get an arm and a brush in at the end of the season.
