The green 3,500 gallon tank
The Snyder 32296 is the green version of the 96 inch, 125 inch tall 3,500 gallon vertical tank: the same mold and the same 535 pound wall as the black 32294, in high density linear polyethylene, in the color chosen for drinking water that stands where people see it. It is the largest tank that fits a 96 inch pad. Twenty-six inch threaded vented manway on top, 1-1/2 inch polypropylene inlet, 2 inch polypropylene outlet, rated for a specific gravity of 1.0.

Green or black
Both block the light that grows algae. Green marks a potable tank in a yard full of black chemical and septic tanks and sits more quietly beside a house; black is the plain choice for stock, irrigation or fire water on a working site. Wall, fittings, pad and freight are identical, so the choice is what the tank holds and who will look at it.

A site poured for a 96 inch tank can step up to this one without a new slab. The 4,100 gallon 32327 needs the wider 102 inch pad and 5 more inches of height, with 179 more pounds of wall. The 3,000 gallon straight-wall tank is the low option at 97 inches for a ceiling problem.

The slab, and the vent
Full, the tank weighs 29,190 pounds, carried high on a 96 inch circle. It needs a level slab in full contact with the whole floor, sized by the ACI 360R-10 method in the concrete pad sizing guide. Service limit is 120 F / 48 C. The manway vent has to move the air displaced by 3,500 gallons on fill and draw-down; keep it clear, run the fill to the top inlet, and leave the manway closed for inspection.
Ports
- 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead inlet on top for the fill line or a float valve.
- 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead outlet at the base: full-port valve, union, pump.
- 26 inch threaded, vented manway.
