Grades on the 53 x 63 inch double wall, and the sizes beside it

The N30 is the sulfuric acid grade, the N42 is cross-linked polyethylene for oxidizers, and the N48 is another linear grade, all at the same weight in the same shell. The 5740102N30 is the 275 gallon double wall at the same 63 inch height on a base 6 inches narrower, and the 5990702N45 stands 405 gallons 10 inches taller on a 48 inch base for the corner with height and no floor.

Connections, alarms and the interstitial check

• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway on the primary, at chest height; fill by hose or tote pump down a dip tube, and vent to the outside if the liquid fumes.
• Outlet: through both walls together, with the transition supported off the floor; the fitting material is chosen for the chemical at order time.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

There are two levels to watch: the primary, with a sender chosen for the chemical per the level gauge selection guide, and the interstitial space, which is the leak alarm and gets a float switch and a logged check. A low tank cannot tip and needs no strap; mount the dosing pump below the outlet so it primes by gravity, and give the vent a line routed away from the pump's electrical gear. Turnover and changeover

Size the refill schedule so the tank turns over before the chemical degrades; hypochlorite in particular is bought in small lots often. At changeover the low shape earns its keep: the manway is at chest height and the floor is a hand's reach through it, so a wash-down wand cleans the primary without anyone leaning over an opening. Drain, rinse, drain again, let it dry before the new fill, and log each fill with its date and strength.
