A tank's specific gravity rating is the density of the heaviest liquid its wall is sized to hold for its service life; everything a water plant stores short of concentrated acid sits below what a 1.5 wall is sized for, so this grade carries those liquids with margin at a lower price than the 1.9 wall. The N45 is the 1.9 wall in linear resin and the N30 is the sulfuric acid grade, both 800 pounds heavier; the N40 is cross-linked polyethylene for oxidizers at this tank's weight. What is fitted, what alarms, what is watched
