Where it goes

An eight and a half foot circle is the footprint for a bunded corner of a plant room, a gap between a wall and a process line, or a containment area already marked out in a yard, and at 197 inches this tank gets under a service run that the taller 5000 gallon version on the same footprint will not. The 1.9 rating puts it with concentrated treatment chemicals at water and wastewater works, bulk acid and caustic on process lines, plating and metal finishing, and dosing operations that receive dense product by the tanker load over a floor that drains somewhere expensive. If the liquid is near the weight of water, the same shell is sold at a 1.5 rating and we list those versions below. The pad carries up to 71,307 lb on a 102 inch circle, so it is a designed slab, poured flat, cured and checked with a level across both diagonals before delivery. Measure the clear height from the finished slab to the lowest service in the way, with a platform and the fill connection allowed for above the manway. Openings, and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top at 197 inches. Fill, inspection, level instrument and vent all share it, so plan them together and put a fixed ladder or platform with fall protection in the installation drawing.
2. Outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed on this product. Tell us the line size, the valve and the pump arrangement when you order and we will confirm with Snyder what 5620000N51 carries and what can be added before it ships.
3. The liquid. Name it, with concentration. The 1.9 rating is a weight rating, not a compatibility statement; fitting materials are chosen against the specific chemistry, and a dense product settles, so keep any suction foot clear of the bottom.
4. Level. The wall is black, so instrumentation is your only level. Choose the low level cut-out with the pump.
5. The space between the walls. No leak detection is listed with the tank. Specify it separately and inspect on a written schedule; the interstitial space testing guide covers how buried steel double wall systems are checked and why an above-ground polyethylene tank avoids that problem.

Snyder sells this 4500 gallon body under several part numbers that differ in resin, rating and service limit, not in size: the 4500 gallon XLPE double wall tank 5620000N40, the 4500 gallon XLPE double wall tank 5620000N42 and the 4500 gallon sulfuric acid double wall tank 5620000N30. Shipping and receiving

The tank ships LTL at freight class 250 from Snyder's Lincoln, Nebraska plant, 102 by 102 by 197 inches at 3,800 lb. Measure the route for height rather than weight; a load over sixteen feet tall stops at a door head, an overhead service or a low gate frame. Lift from the base with equipment that has the reach, never by the manway. Set it plumb on the cured slab, fill with water, hold the 37,530 lb load while you read the manway seal and the base, then drain, dry and inspect the space between the walls before the first chemical goes in. Write the date and the part number on the shell, and check the bill of lading against 5620000N51 at the tailgate.
