Where it goes

This is the tall, slim shape you buy when floor area is scarce and the roof is not. The 1.9 rating suits concentrated treatment chemicals, bulk acid and caustic on process lines, and plating and metal finishing. If the liquid is near the weight of water, the same shell is sold at a 1.5 rating and we list those versions below. Pour the slab flat, cure it, and check it with a level across both diagonals before the truck arrives; up to 79,230 lb on this footprint turns an out-of-level edge into a lean you cannot fix once the tank is set. Measure clear height from the slab, allowing for a platform above the 216 inch shell. Openings, and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway at the top of a 216 inch column. Fill, inspection and vent share it; a fixed ladder or platform with fall protection belongs in the installation drawing.
2. Outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed on this product. Tell us the line size, the valve and the pump arrangement when you order and we will confirm with Snyder what 5630000N51 carries and what can be added before it ships.
3. Getting liquid out of a tall column. If the discharge is a suction line through the manway, keep it short and rigid and set the foot clear of the bottom so settled material stays there.
4. The liquid. Name it, with concentration. The 1.9 rating is a weight rating, not a compatibility statement; fitting materials are chosen against the specific chemistry.
5. Level. The wall is black, so instrumentation is your only level. Choose the low level cut-out with the pump.
6. The space between the walls. No leak detection is listed with the tank. Specify it separately and inspect on a written schedule; the interstitial space testing guide covers how double wall systems are checked.

Snyder sells this 5000 gallon body under several part numbers that differ in resin, rating and service limit, not in size: the 5000 gallon XLPE double wall tank 5630000N40, the 5000 gallon XLPE double wall tank 5630000N42 and the 5000 gallon XLPE black double wall tank 5630000N46. Each page states its own figures. Shipping and receiving

The tank ships LTL at freight class 250 from Snyder's Lincoln, Nebraska plant, 102 by 102 by 216 inches at 4,300 lb. Measure the route for height: this load stops at a door head or a low gate frame. Lift from the base, never by the manway, and keep it upright wherever the route allows. Set it plumb on the cured slab, prove it in two directions while empty, fill with water, hold the 41,700 lb load while you read the manway seal and the base, then drain, dry and inspect the space between the walls.
