If you have a normal industrial ceiling and a modest pad, this is the shape to start with. At 154 inches tall it clears the steel in most process buildings with room above for the manway lid, a fill line and a vent, and a 102 inch diameter is a circle most chemical yards and rooms can give up. The 1.5 wall is the standard grade of this shell and the right buy for water, rinse and wash water, fertilizer solutions and the lighter chemicals; paying for the heavy duty version only makes sense when the liquid is well above the weight of water. Full, the tank puts over 38,781 lb on a 102 inch circle, and a rotationally moulded floor bears on the whole of that circle rather than on a ring, so the slab is engineered, poured level and in full contact; the concrete pad sizing guide covers it. Openings and what to check before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. At 154 inches it is opened from a platform with a rail, so a level sender read at grade is the everyday gauge and the lid is for service. Fill through a dip tube to the floor and size the vent path to the delivery pump.
2. Outlet. No outlet fitting is listed on this product. Tell us the liquid, the pipe size and where the connection goes and we will confirm what comes installed and what you add. Mount a transfer pump below the outlet so gravity keeps it primed, and carry the first valve on its own support.
3. Rating. 1.5 specific gravity and 140 F. Heavier or hotter liquids need the heavy duty version of this shell or a different tank; ask us.
