5,100 gallons at 1.5 specific gravity on a 102 inch base
The Snyder 32372 is a white high density linear polyethylene vertical liquid storage tank, 102 inches across and 159 inches tall, holding 5,100 gallons at 1,301 pounds. Its wall is rated for a specific gravity of 1.5, or 63,801 pounds of contents against 42,534 for water, so it holds brine, fertilizer solution and coagulant as delivered as well as water, in the heaviest 1.5 wall on this base, and the 3 inch outlet carries a 2 inch reducer and an internal siphon tube. A 20 inch manway, and it ships as oversize freight.

The middle wall, built heavy
A 1.0 wall is for water and nothing heavier; a 1.9 wall is for concentrated acid; a 1.5 wall is the middle, sized for brine, fertilizer solution and coagulant as delivered and every water application, with margin. At 1,301 pounds this tank carries 351 pounds more resin than the certified 5,000 gallon tank on this same base, which is what makes it the tank for a long life outdoors under a dense liquid. A siphon tube outlet draws from the floor through a fitting set higher on the wall, which keeps the bulkhead out of the sediment; prime it once and it stays primed. Full, it puts 63,801 pounds on a 102 inch circle at the rating: an engineered, full-contact slab under all of the floor, with straps holding the empty tank against wind and the manway reached from a fixed platform. The 2,000 gallon tall tank guide, the 500 gallon vertical tank guide and the 300 gallon vertical tank guide cover the smaller size classes; the tank sizing calculator tells you whether 5,100 gallons covers the draw, and the tank sizing guide covers days of supply.
Snyder's 5,000 to 5,100 gallon verticals
| Part | Gallons | Diameter x height | Empty weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| 32372 (this tank, 1.5 SG) | 5,100 | 102 x 159 in | 1,301 lb |
| 32378 (1.9 SG) | 5,100 | 102 x 159 in | 1,301 lb |
| 32388 (low profile, 1.5 SG) | 5,100 | 142 x 93 in | 1,224 lb |
| 32376 (low profile) | 5,100 | 142 x 93 in | 1,043 lb |
| 1002100C34 | 5,000 | 102 x 154 in | 950 lb |
The 32378 is the 1.9 chemical wall in this same shell at the same weight. The 32388 and 32376 lay 5,100 gallons down to 93 inches on a 142 inch base for a low roof, the first with this same 1.5 wall. The 1002100C34 is the general-grade 5,000 on this base, 5 inches shorter.

Fittings and access
- Outlet: 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting with a 2 inch reducer and an internal siphon tube; a flexible connector between the bulkhead and hard pipe, an expansion joint, and the valve supported off the slab.
- Access: 20 inch threaded, vented manway, 159 inches up; size the vent for the fill and pump-out rates.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
Leave the reducer in for a 2 inch pump suction; take it out for a 3 inch fire line or a fast gravity drain. A siphon outlet needs the pump or the gravity line below the tank floor to stay primed; if the line ever runs dry, refill the tank above the fitting and open the valve to re-prime. Fit a sender read at ground level so nobody climbs for a number. If winters freeze, wrap or drain the outlet valve and the first pipe run; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
Jobs it is bought for
Well storage for a farm or a small community, irrigation and stock water, fertilizer solution and brine delivered by tanker at the 1.5 rating, and a fire reserve of the kind the fire-water reservoir design guide describes, where the 3 inch outlet counts. One liquid per tank, labeled.
What the carrier needs from you
At 102 inches across and 159 inches long on the deck the 32372 is oversize freight (NMFC 156600) on a flatbed at a lane rate; the freight cost estimator gives the flatbed number for your ZIP, and the listed price is before freight. A crane or a forklift with long forks sets 1,301 pounds on the slab. Strap it, fill it to the manway once, prime the siphon, and check the outlet fitting before it goes to work. Note the pad height and the outlet height on the site plan while the tape is out; the next pipe run will need both.
