The Snyder 32384 is the narrow-footprint version of Snyder's 5,100 gallon vertical water tank. It stands 159 inches tall on a 102 inch diameter, in green high density linear polyethylene, and it is the one to buy when the ground you can give a tank is small and the sky above it is not. The same volume is also sold as the 32394, which spreads the water across a 142 inch floor and stops at 93 inches; that version fits under a low roof, this one fits beside a wall.

Where this shape earns its keep
A tall, slender tank wants a firm, flat pad more than a squat one does. Full, the 32384 carries 42,534 pounds of water on 102 inches of floor, and every inch of that floor must be in contact with something that will not settle. The 32384 and the 32394 weigh the same 876 pounds because they are the same amount of resin poured into two molds. Pick by the site: 159 inches tall needs a clear reach for filling and inspection through the 26 inch manway, and a ladder that is tied off; 93 inches tall can be inspected from a step stool. The 32368 splits the difference at 119 inches across and 116 tall, and gives up only 100 gallons to do it.

Access and outlet
- Inlet: 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, high on the wall.
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the base.
- Access: 26 inch threaded, vented manway; the vent lets air in as a pump draws down, so leave it open.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C; a rating of 1.0 specific gravity, which means water and liquids no heavier than water.
With 159 inches of head above the outlet, a gravity feed from this tank runs harder than from the low-profile version, which is worth knowing if the tank fills stock troughs or a drip line without a pump.
