Oxidizers (sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide) and strong acids (sulfuric 98%, phosphoric 85%, hydrofluoric 48%, hydrofluosilicic 26%) all require Viton, not EPDM, which degrades fast in those services; peracetic acid steps further to Aflas; and DEF and peracetic acid both call for 316SS wetted metal rather than plastic.
