Light to set, serious when full

An empty weight of 1,350 lb makes this one of the easier large tanks to place: a forklift with a long enough reach, or a small crane, sets it on the pad without a rigging crew. The pad is never asked to hold 1,350 lb, though. It is asked to hold 51,708 lb of water, or up to 77,562 lb at the rating, through a 120 inch circle, and a rotationally moulded floor bears on all of that circle rather than bridging low spots. Build the slab to our concrete pad sizing guide, level and in full contact, and strap the shell to structure while it is still empty; a light tank nearly twelve feet tall is the one a gust moves. The 1.5 wall is the right buy for water, reclaimed water, fertilizer solutions and process makeup. Openings and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, wide enough for a fill line with a dip tube, a level sender and a hand inside to inspect. Size the vent to the delivery pump so air leaves as fast as liquid arrives and returns as fast as it is drawn off.
