This tank is for the small outdoor job where a translucent tank would go green or let the product fade: a treatment chemical feed at a well head, a supply tank at a sprayer fill station, a dosing tank for a pond or a stock water line. Two things change when the wall is black. First, you cannot see the level, so fit a sight tube or a float gauge, or keep a marked dip stick with the tank. Second, a black tank in direct summer sun runs warm. The 140 F limit covers the liquid inside, so on a hot site give it shade or a light-coloured cover over the top. At 23 inches across and 41 inches tall it is easy to fence, cover or tuck against a north wall.
