8400 Gallon Vertical Liquid Storage Tank

Where it goes

If your site is in the South or Texas this is the 8400 that reaches you from the closest plant, and the siphon tube makes it the better pick wherever you want to use nearly all of the volume on every cycle: fertilizer you pay for by the gallon, water hauled in by truck, a reserve you want to run down before the next fill. The shell is a ten foot circle and fifteen and a half feet tall, so it needs open sky and a pad that is level, continuous and carries the whole floor with nothing past the edge. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the side wall, with a 2 inch reducer in it and a siphon tube inside the tank. Connect 2 inch as supplied, or remove the reducer for the full 3 inch port. The siphon tube reaches down from the fitting toward the floor so the last of the liquid is not stranded below the outlet. Support the valve and the first run of pipe so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top, 187 inches up: fill point, vent and inspection opening.
