A wide tank for a site with a height limit
Most 9000 gallon tanks are tall. This one is 146 inches high on a 141 inch footprint, so it fits under a barn roof, inside a containment building or beside a structure where a taller tank would not, and the lower height keeps the pressure at the outlet down. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting low in the side wall with a 2 inch reducer fitted. Run 3 inch for a pump suction or fast gravity draw, or leave the reducer in for a 2 inch valve and hose. Support the valve and the first pipe run on their own.
- Manway. A 22 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill line, float switch, and room for inspection and cleaning. Never block the vent.
