Installation
Set on a level concrete pad, compacted base ring, or 2x6 wood platform sized at least 6 inches wider than the tank diameter. A filled water column at 1075 gallons exerts approximately 8,966 lb of point load — confirm the supporting structure meets this load case before commissioning. For wind-exposed installations or seismic IBC Risk Category III/IV jurisdictions, anchor the tank with steel strapping to a structural foundation per ASCE 7 Chapter 13 non-structural component anchorage requirements.
