What a 114 inch tank asks of the installer
Nine and a half feet of tank means a ladder to open the manway, an overhead clearance check before delivery, and a base that is dead level, because a tall narrow tank carries its 10,842 pound full weight high and a tilt of an inch at the floor becomes several at the rim. Pour or set a level pad in full contact with the whole 60 inch floor; the concrete pad sizing guide covers the ACI 360R-10 method. Plumb the fill to the top inlet so the manway stays closed, and keep its vent clear: a pump drawing 1,300 gallons down through a 2 inch outlet moves a lot of air.

The WB42 is the opposite answer: 200 fewer gallons on a floor 26 inches wider and 61 inches lower. The 32541 is the next step up on the same height, 5 inches wider for 200 more gallons and 36 more pounds of wall. The green 32537 is this exact tank for potable water in the open. If the corner is tight but the ceiling is not, this shape wins; if the ceiling is the problem, nothing in the narrow family helps and the low WB42 is the answer.

Put a full-port valve on the outlet first and a union between valve and pump, so the pump comes off without draining 1,300 gallons; run the fill line to the top inlet with a float valve, and keep the manway for inspection only.
