Who runs a 1025, and where it rides

At this size the tank is bought by people who move liquid for a living. A custom applicator or a co-op runs a 1025 on a nurse trailer, parked at the end of the field and drawn down through a day of spray loads. A hauler runs one on a flat deck between a plant and a yard. A grower carries starter solution or fluid feed to the planter with it. At 139 inches long and 48 inches wide it fits lengthwise on a tandem trailer or across a wide flat deck, and the 55 inch height keeps the fill lid within reach from the deck. Full of water it is close to 8550 lb before the trailer, so the axle and hitch ratings, not the tank, are usually the limit. What goes in it

Water, liquid fertilizer and the farm and treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles at up to 1.5 specific gravity. Check anything else in our chemical compatibility guide; the entries leg tank buyers ask about most are urea solution, DEF, calcium chloride, sodium hypochlorite and phosphoric acid. Liquids heavier than 1.5 times water need a tank with a higher rating, not this one. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. 2 inch, low in the end of the tank. Confirm the fitting style with us so your valve or camlock matches what arrives. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the tank wall carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Lid. 20 inches on top: wide enough to fill from a hose or a pump, to drop a float in, and to get a hand and a brush inside to clean.
3. Strapping. Strap over the tank body at the moulded leg recesses, never over the lid. On a vehicle, use hoops or bands made for the tank; the hooped versions below ship with them.
