The Snyder 1830000N43 is a white polyethylene vertical liquid storage tank, 64 inches across and 90 inches tall, holding 1,100 gallons at 220 pounds. Its wall is rated for a specific gravity of 1.5, or 13,761 pounds of contents against 9,174 for water, so it holds brine, fertilizer solution and coagulant as delivered as well as water, and it is sold with ASTM certification for jobs that need the paper. An 18 inch threaded, vented manway on top, a 3 year warranty, and it ships as standard LTL freight.

Four totes, certified
Eleven hundred gallons is four totes with room for expansion and freeboard, and the 64 by 90 inch shape holds it under an eight foot ceiling. The 1710000 tanks lay 1,100 gallons down to 55 inches on an 86 inch base for a low roof. The 1831000C34 holds 1,000 gallons on a 60 inch base an inch shorter, and the 1830200N40 stands 1,200 gallons on that same base 19 inches taller in cross-linked resin for oxidizers.

What is fitted
- Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 90 inches up; filled by hose or truck through a dip tube, vented outside on anything that fumes.
- Outlet: the bulkhead fitting is chosen for the liquid at order time; a flexible transition to the pump suction and a valve supported off the floor.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

A white 90 inch tank shows its level in daylight; a low-level switch protects the pump. Mount the pump below the outlet so it primes by gravity, keep the manway closed against vapor loss, and keep the tank out of direct sun where the liquid is light-sensitive. In a freezing climate insulate or drain the outlet valve and the first run of pipe.
Receiving a delivery
A small delivery truck's pump moves liquid faster than a manway vent passes air, so the vent is sized for the unload rate or the fill comes in through a top bulkhead with its own vent line. The fill pipe reaches the floor, so the liquid enters below the surface instead of free-falling and foaming. The first delivery into a new tank is watched from start to finish, with the outlet fitting checked as the level climbs, and from then on each load is logged by date and strength.
Applications
Brine for a softener bank, fertilizer solution on a farm, coagulant as delivered at a small plant that needs the certification on file, well storage, and one cell of a small fire reserve of the kind the fire-water reservoir design guide describes. One liquid per tank, labeled.
