Snyder Industries 125 Gallon Plastic Horizontal Leg Tank

Between the wheel wells or along a trailer

The 30 inch width is the reason to choose this body over the wider 125 gallon tank: it sits between the wheel wells of a full size pickup, which puts the weight low and centred and leaves the bed sides free for the pump and the reel. At 49 inches long it still leaves room in front of it, and at 35 inches tall it sits just above the bed rails, so check it against a tonneau before you order. Full of water it carries about 1040 lb of liquid on top of its own 46 lb, which is inside most full size payload ratings but not many mid size ones; check the door sticker before you fill it to the top. Strap it through the leg recesses, never over the lid, and keep the straps tight enough that the tank cannot slide when the liquid surges at a stop. What goes in it

Water, spray mix, liquid fertilizer and the farm and treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles are the normal loads. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 1.25 inch outlet low in the end wall. Your valve or hose adapter goes onto it; tell us what you are connecting and we will confirm the thread before the tank ships. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Lid. A 10 inch lid on top: wide enough to fill from a hose or a pump, to drop a float in, and to get a hand inside to rinse. Ask us whether it is vented if the tank will be pumped out quickly.
