The green 1,300 gallon column
The Snyder 32537 is the green version of the 60 inch, 114 inch tall 1,300 gallon tank: same mold, same 194 pound wall, same polyethylene, in the color chosen for drinking water tanks that stand in the open. It is the tank for a narrow site with height to spare. Twenty inch threaded vented manway on top, 1-1/2 inch polypropylene inlet, 2 inch polypropylene outlet, rated for a specific gravity of 1.0, water only.

Why green here
Beside a house, green reads as clean water and sits quietly in a landscape where a black tank looks industrial. Both colors keep light out of the water, which is what stops algae. The black 32535 is the same tank for stock, irrigation or fire water where appearance is not a factor, and on a shaded site either one does the job. Both are the same 194 pounds from the same mold, so the pad, the fittings and the freight are identical; only the resin color differs.
A column of water 114 inches high
Full, the tank weighs 10,842 pounds and carries it high on a 60 inch circle, so the base has to be level and in full contact with the floor; a tilt at the bottom is multiplied at the top. The concrete pad sizing guide covers the ACI 360R-10 approach and when a compacted base is enough. The manway needs a ladder, so plumb the fill to the top inlet and leave the manway shut with its vent clear. Service limit is 120 F / 48 C.
The neighbors
| Part | Gallons | Diameter x height | Empty weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| WB42 | 1,100 | 86 x 53 in | 210 lb |
| 32535, black | 1,300 | 60 x 114 in | 194 lb |
| 32537 (this tank) | 1,300 | 60 x 114 in | 194 lb |
| 32541 | 1,500 | 65 x 114 in | 230 lb |
If height is the constraint instead of floor, the WB42 holds 1,100 gallons at 53 inches on an 86 inch circle. If you want more water at this height, the 32541 adds 200 gallons and 36 pounds of wall on a 65 inch floor.

Fittings
- 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead inlet on top for the fill line or float valve.
- 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead outlet at the base: full-port valve, union, pump.
- 20 inch threaded, vented manway, large enough to reach in for cleanout or a float valve service.
Valve first, then a union, then the pump, so the pump is serviceable without draining the tank.
A sight tube on the outlet is the simplest level indicator; the level gauge selection guide covers sensors for an automated system.
What it is for
A household well reserve, rainwater beside a tall wall, and the first tank of a fire reserve, which the fire-water reservoir design guide sizes against NFPA 22. As a collection tank ahead of treatment it fits the industrial water reuse topology guide. Confirm the capacity against your draw with the tank sizing calculator and the tank sizing guide.
