Snyder's 1,300 to 1,600 gallon water tanks

The WB46 is the same black low tank with different fittings, and the 32547 the 1,600 gallon step up an inch taller. The 32541 and 32543 stand the same 1,500 gallons on a 65 inch base at 114 inches for a corner with height and no floor, and the 32535 is the 1,300 on a 60 inch base at that height.

Ports and manway

• Inlet: 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting.
• Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, at the base; a flexible connector between the fitting and hard pipe, and the valve supported off the pad.
• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, reached from a step.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

A 2 inch outlet on a low tank gives a pressure pump a flooded suction to the last few inches; a garden hose runs by gravity but slowly, because there is little head. A black wall shows no level, so fit a float gauge on the manway or a sight tube off the outlet, and a low-level float switch keeps the pump from running dry. In a cold climate the outlet valve and the first run of pipe are insulated or drained; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
