The green 65 inch 1,500 gallon tank
The Snyder 32543 is the green version of the narrow 1,500 gallon vertical tank: 65 inches across, 114 inches tall, polyethylene, 230 pounds empty, the same mold and wall as the black 32541. Green is the color for drinking water standing where people see it. Twenty inch threaded vented manway, 1-1/2 inch polypropylene inlet, 2 inch polypropylene outlet, rated for a specific gravity of 1.0, water only.

Green, and when black is the better buy
Both colors block the light that grows algae. Green signals potable water and disappears into a garden; black is the plain choice for stock, irrigation or fire water on a working site. The wall, the fittings and the price band are the same, so choose by where the tank stands and what it holds.

The 65 inch tanks save 21 inches of floor against the low-profile WB46 and WB47 and spend 43 to 44 inches of height doing it. Beside a two-story wall or in a corner of a pump house, that is the right trade; under a deck it is not. The 32535 is the same height on a 60 inch floor for 200 fewer gallons.

Base, manway, vent
Full, the tank weighs 12,510 pounds, carried high on a 65 inch circle, so the pad must be level and in full contact with the whole floor; the concrete pad sizing guide gives the ACI 360R-10 method. The manway is a ladder job at 114 inches, so run the fill to the top inlet and keep the manway shut with its vent clear. Service limit is 120 F / 48 C.
Outlet and gauge
- 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead outlet: full-port valve, union, pump.
- 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead inlet on top for the fill line or a float valve.
